Kertia Black is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit where she also serves as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.  She has been writing since the age of 11 and has published book chapters, book reviews, journal articles and news stories.  She also hosts a health information public access television show called TO YOUR HEALTH.

Michael C. Gallaga lives with his wife, Marilyn in Phoenix Arizona.

Lora Gordon, author of forthcoming memoir The End of Abu Jameel Street, is a Jewish American who works for the human rights of Palestinians and for innovative solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli impasse. She worked in the Gaza Strip from 2003-4 and returned spring 2009 with a medical relief delegation in the aftermath of Operation Cast Lead. She lives in Paris.

Dr. Reece W. Manley, DD, M.Ed., MPM, lives in Addison, Texas and practices as online pastoral counselor.  Because of his physical disability, Dr. Manley practices  by using the technology of the Internet to connect to clients.  He is also the author of Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source.  He can be reached at 1-800-936-081. He has progressed happily to the authoring of his 3rd book, All Gays Go to Heaven, and it is dedicated as it should be to his mommy.

Joe Markman is a website editor and freelance reporter in the Boston area. He graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University. Through that program Joe lived for a time in Washington, D.C., writing for the Los Angeles Times, and was also an intern reporter at the Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Mass., where he now lives. Joe received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2008. His short stories have been published in the Newport Review, an online literary magazine in Rhode Island. Heidi Peaster is a freelance writer who, along with Roger, her husband of thirty-seven years and their three daughters, has been a foster family for more than forty abused and neglected children, adopting six over the years. They live in the small mountain town of Clarkesville, Georgia with their five remaining adopted children, on an eighteen acre homestead, visited often by their six grandchildren.
 
Jessica VandenHouten is an award-winning, published writer who's written in the health industry for more than 10 years, covering such topics as women's wellness, organic living and children's health to name a few. She also writes for various local and national publications, and aspirations to become a children's book author. Jessica currently resides with her husband and two daughters in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
